Lunch and health break snacks included at no extra cost.\nPreregister by calling 780-538-1616 or email box.office@gplt.ab.ca \nLearn the techniques and the language to stage human sexuality in a way that is professional\, dynamic and focused on storytelling. \nWorkshops introduce specific techniques to help actors access their vulnerability in a dramatic context\, resulting in powerful chemistry between characters without compromising personal boundaries. Focus is on subtle and specific details in choreography\, and on acting exercises to keep partners connected physically and emotionally. It’s an exploration of vulnerability within a dramatic context for the purpose of telling the story of the scene. DESCRIPTION:Calling all Northern Alberta filmmakers! \nHave a short film you've produced in the last 18 months? Over the next week PRIMAA will accept all submissions which meet the criteria below to be evaluated by a panel of judges\, who are skilled in the language of film\, to choose 3 films to represent Northern Alberta. \nAny of the films chosen may have a chance to screen at the 7th Annual FAVA Fest Film Festival in Edmonton (all films will be subject to FAVA's selection process once they get there.) If your film is chosen to screen you will receive IMAA rates from FAVA. \nSubmission Deadline to PRIMAA:\nTuesday Feb. 6\, 2018 \nHow to Submit:\nSubmit your film on our website at https://primaa.org/submit/ \nCRITERIA to be accepted:  \n\nOriginal short film (under 40 minutes)\nFilm can be any genre\nProduced in the last 18 months (Released July 1st 2016 or later)\nFilmed in Northern Alberta. DESCRIPTION:April 28 – 30\, 2017\nOver the course of an adrenaline-filled weekend filmmaking teams compete to write\, shoot\, and edit a short film based on a randomly selected genre\, and a provided line of dialogue and prop. The best films will be screened as part of the Reel Shorts Film Festival in Grande Prairie\, Alberta Sunday May 14th. \nTeams DO NOT need to be in Grande Prairie to participate\, but they do need to do all creative work within the Peace Region.  \nREGISTRATION\nTeams of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate. All short films must be produced in the Peace Region to qualify for entry. \nEarly-bird Registration is closes April 15th. \nRegister here! \n
