DESCRIPTION:Calling all Northern Alberta filmmakers! \nHave a short film you've produced in the last 18 months? Over the next week PRIMAA will accept all submissions which meet the criteria below to be evaluated by a panel of judges\, who are skilled in the language of film\, to choose 3 films to represent Northern Alberta. \nAny of the films chosen may have a chance to screen at the 7th Annual FAVA Fest Film Festival in Edmonton (all films will be subject to FAVA's selection process once they get there.) If your film is chosen to screen you will receive IMAA rates from FAVA. \nSubmission Deadline to PRIMAA:\nTuesday Feb. 6\, 2018 \nHow to Submit:\nSubmit your film on our website at https://primaa.org/submit/ \nCRITERIA to be accepted:  \n\nOriginal short film (under 40 minutes)\nFilm can be any genre\nProduced in the last 18 months (Released July 1st 2016 or later)\nFilmed in Northern Alberta. Premiere Screening at 7:30 pm (GPLT); Encore Screening at 9:30 pm (GPLT). \nThirteen local teams competed two weeks ago to write\, shoot\, and edit a short film in 48 hours\, right here in the Peace Region. \nPrizes (Generously Sponsored by Community Futures Grande Prairie) will be awarded for audience choice and best juried film. \n$12 ($8 students) \nPresented in collaboration with Reel Shorts Film Festival.
